Leave your name here if you think you might wanna be a part of the rp. GM, storyline, and rp format have yet to be decided so deal with it, lol. Also leave experience and all that junk. Not sure of number allowed in rp, that'll be left up to the GM. I'm out... tired....
- wow, you thought you found a loophole

I would like to become a character, You guys know me to be one of the best Video Game players in the clique, Ive played Runescape, KUF, AOE, Sims, D&D and countless other RPG types. and let me make it easier for all of the other Admins... All the MGH admins should be characters, and here is why.... we all have the right "stuff." I think Im correct in saying that we admins, Collectivly, hold more than 87,600 hours of Gameplay in our entire lives. thats frickin INSANE!!!! Be it RPGs FPSs ;D ;D or wondering what it wiuld be like to have Orcs attack our English cla rseess, we Admins have it covered. we need outlets.. lol . ... .. ... .. ... < morse.. jk lol wow im the bored, well really, were the bored... w007 w3r3 7h3 80r3D!iii!!

Jack, don't be mean to Grayson, and Grayson, d&d doesn't always count..and caps-lock is a little unnerving. and Matt-chan... I wondererd the same thing about the orcs.. only it was chem. ><
Anyway, just wondering what kind of style the rp would be... I'm not very experianced byhond gaia-teype stuff...and the only video games I play are rpg, but that's not saying much. I'd be willing to learn, though...
anyway, just wondering
~** may you al be stalked by purple llamas, and may your home be rained upon by squashy armchairs and overripe cucumbers. and potatoes. gotta have potatoes.
... I heart the kevin.... meh. **~

Um, yeah, sign me up. I've played RPGs numerous times, different DMs/GMs, and I play characters no one else likes to play- Clerics and Bards. Also, if you don't let me play, then horrible things will befall you. HORRIBLE THINGS!!! You will not have any poptarts in the cupboard EVERY TIME YOU CHECK. People will accidently sit one you in movie theatres- not skinny people either. Then they will not be able to get up and you'll be stuck there for over an hour. Also, mice will eat your internet connection, and you will be forced to play SOLITAIRE EVERY TIME YOU GET ON THE COMPUTER!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! (sniff)

dude, still beat you, and prolly, everyone else here, I've been playing since I was like 4, I had these systems at one time, atari (first system), then I had a nes, gameboy, then when I turned the sweet age of 6 or so, I got snes, when it first came out, first snes game was mario world, I have had sega, dreamcast, saturn, n64,playstation, game gear (woot), comp., nothin can beat the sweet sweet game of wolf 3d (this is the game that started fps might I add, and killing nazi Rumpholes) but anywho, shouldn't this be in the gaming section?, so yea, after this post, start a thread of gaming if anyone wants it to, wow, thats funny how it went from rping online to video games.......life is soo funny that way....lol

I learned how to turn on a computer in 7th grade...about the time I learned to sing... ::shuffles feet;: I got a gameboy colour in 6th grade and played pokemon: yellow for about three years on it...um.. I started likeing anime in 6th grade also... and I began my first rp (over the phone ) in 7th grade with my firend Julie Selnacovik (korean, dontchaknow) about Gundam Wing... we talked about 2 hours a night... that was til I moved to Orange in 8th grade, when i began written rp's, discovered submilk shootereled anime, and learned the greatness of the internet and playstation... thanks Orange for setting me straight... And i started D&D in 9th, was forced out in 9th, and have been a druid ever since... ::pokes a bunny:: guess I'm unqualified and stuff... ::sniffle:: so deprived... ><

«backhands both the Jack and Grayson» i know both of you dont have kind feelings towards each other but this is supposed to be a section to sign up for rping stating actual rp experience, i dont give a rats arse how many video games you've played, rping falls in a whole 'nother category, d&d only semi-qualifies/suggests you, d&d is also something completely different from an rp as with any other d20 game that might be out there due to lack of rolls to determine actions, you must counter-balance any action you do with something else. you cant just say, "i walk into said room and blow away multiple enemies with a few fireballs", it doesnt work that way, and if i see said post or a type like it i will ask the GM to kill that character in any cruel, misfortunate way possible. also in the type of rp the players will not be in a party setting, you might be lucky to start off as friends or aquantinces, each character will have their own story/agenda to be following, if a few of them want to band together in some areas so be it, thats the players choice, the GMs job is to make sure actions/events do not conflict between characters and if characters have no "story" to be following the GM can intervene to start/give them one. the Gm will also most likely give a rough world sketch, or use a pre-made world such as Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, or Middle Earth. also the GM can decide completely on era type setting, season, etc. (most setting elements), but the players are the true story weavers in what their character does and what they are supposed to be doing. i have a huge nice example of an rp i participated in on utopia (an web based game) in my kingdom. (matt and david should remember my long posts i have typed before... "are you done yet kevin?" "no...") i will try to see if some of it will fit on the forums but i cant promise anything. remeber also that this type of rp requires alot of real life teamwork and being able to roll with what others do and say, and also being able to bounce ideas and events off of each other.
to matt: i dont think that it should be said all admins right off the bat due to unfair advantage, but looking at the admins i'd say we have a good solid background for something like this.
david and jack you were the only two who mentioned dm/gm experience but from the way i took your posts you want to be more a character than anything else? if this is wrong then grayson was right and you need to sign up on the gm thread (its stickied, not locked as some might think...)
to grayson and jack once more, glad you're enthusiastic but cool the jets, you dont need a flame war.
to Kaze, remember rps have to let in unexperienced players so they can learn too and also to add new flavor.
thats about it for now, i'll work on seeing if part of that rp will go up if not all of it, but 33 posts in word might be a bit much...
edit: please ignore any spelling mistakes or typos, im tired, blame someone else
edit2: i heart the Kaze
edit3: graysons supposed log is 18250 hours of game play from his numbers, if i take my own numbers (playing since i was 4, so thats 13 years, most likely 6-7 hours a day, hmmm...) i can come up with a rough estimate of 28470 to 33215 hours out of my close to 148920 hour life (for fraction freaks thats about one-fourth to almost one-third of my life spent on video games). hows that possible? i can sleep for less than four hours a day if I so deem necessary, also have you played Mario land 2 for gameboy 48 hours straight only stopping to switch batteries or to use the bathroom? I think not) So grayson no offense I just shaterred whatever record you thought to hold on games (why do you think i work a game room at anime conventions?) So if ever i tell someone they are more important than video games that may sound stupid but it actually means alot «glances at Kaze». Anyway, blah at you all...
